You know 'the job's a good 'un' as every job is inspected and performance tested in our test tank facility before return and guaranteed by RMS. All rotating elements dynamically balanced and certified before return ensuring no more frustrating double down times.

All pumps are tested, run and certified using our 6,000 gallon Horiozontal Test Rig and 10 x 5 13ft deep Submerged tank.
We can offer power capacity up to 70Kw and work up to a maximum 12" suction diameter.
We also provide Motor re-winds.
RMS have built an excellent reputation in the overhaul and refurbishment of all types of Gear Boxes.
Firstly they are assessed to establish whether it is economically viable to overhaul or whether replacement would be the better option with the customer consulted accordingly. This assessment would cover the checking of all bearings, shafts examined for wear & tear and the need for gear refurbishment. All work would be carried out in house and fully tested before returm. Gearboxes up to 1 tonne can be handled.
We know from experience how valuable this service is to our Customers as they regularly thank us for giving them the peace of mind that comes from knowing that once a pump is returned it will run as expected.
How often have you had a unit returned that has been service, repaired and statically tested only to leak or otherwise fail after installation with the consequence expensive downtime?
With our extensive in-house capabilities for performance testing vertical pumps up 5 metres long and horizontal pumps up to 60cm suction, we can ensure that your equipment is not only operating at design performance but is free from leakage and excessive vibration. We can operate equipment with electric drives up to 60Kw.
Where electric drives cannot be provided RMS has in-house electric motors, or in the case of equipment with power rating in excess of 60Kw we use our own down speed motors to test the equipment, and extrapolate the data to give at speed performance information.
Should at-speed high power testing be a necessity we lease generators to accommodate accordingly.
